August 21 Newsletter - Michawye Art Fair
Aug 07, 2021
Where has this summer gone? It the Dog Days, the pennant races are heating up. The Olympics are just about over. It’s getting to the middle of August for heaven’s sake. Kids are thinking back to school (parents too!).

Two Major Announcements!
First, the Michawye Art Fair is being held this year for the 42nd time Friday and Saturday, August 13th and 14th. Only missed last year and we all know why. Don Peterson Photography will be showing for the first time this year.
We will have photographs of many sizes, some gallery wraps and some matted ready for framing. You can see a variety of locations ranging from the northern Rockies to right close to home in Michigan’s upper peninsula. In addition, there will be for the first time oil paintings on display as well as cute as a bug painted stones. They make great gifts.
You will be able to see these and many other photographs at the show. If you are anywhere near northern Michigan, come see us, just south of Gaylord.
Price reduction!
Second, like many other businesses in the past 18 months, we’ve rethought our business model. While it was OK before, we wanted to make our photography and paintings available to a wider audience and increase the quality of our prints. To that end, we have taken two actions. First, we’ve changed the print lab who processes our photographs. We are proud to say that Bay Photo will now be doing our prints. They are well known and their quality is second to none. Second, we’ve slashed our mark ups by 50%+ to make our prints more affordable to a wider range of clientele. We hope that you will take advantage.
We hope you can join us in Gaylord next week. Should be a good time for all. I happen to know there will be an ice cream truck there.
Please take a look at the Don Peterson Photography web site and check out the new reduced prices.
Enjoy what's left of summer.
